Matthew T. Grant is Director of Content Strategy at Aberdeen. In that role, he is responsible for the growth of our Essentials blogs (CMO Essentials, TechPro Essentials, HCM Essentials, and more to come!). Prior to joining Aberdeen, Matt was Director of Content Strategy at Aquent, a global staffing firm focused on the marketing and creative space. There, Matt’s content efforts focused on the promotion of Aquent’s groundbreaking MOOC initiative, Aquent Gymnasium, an online school dedicated to closing the skills gap in digital design and front-end development. Before joining Aquent, Matt was Managing Editor at MarketingProfs, a leading online resource for B2B marketers. At MarketingProfs Matt oversaw curriculum development for MarketingProfs University and launched the Marketing Smarts podcast. Matt has written and spoken on a wide variety of topics including content marketing, social media, podcasting, user experience design, freelance careers, corporate communications, the history of Western philosophy and gangsta rap. Matt has a PhD in German Studies from Cornell University.
