The Social Media Club of Kansas City (SMCKC) is a network of social media professionals who seek to explore key issues facing our society as technologies transform the way we connect, communicate, collaborate and relate to each other through emerging social media. Established in 2008, SMCKC has grown into SMC Global’s most active chapter in the US with more than 2,000 members and two to three events per month including an annual awards celebration (AMPS KC) and a semi-annual focus on strengthening local non-profits (Ignition).
This monthly meeting showcases some amazing brands and thought-leaders using social media strategies and tactics to reach their customers. The format is simple and the turnout is fantastic.
